The following are the rules and regulations for any event being held
by SEM. The rules are subject to change (depending on the game). If you have any
questions, ask us and we will be happy to clarify.
***Breaking of the rules can result in banning from both the site and
any future SEM events!***
*There is a
field fee of $5*
_____________________________________________
FPS Limits (measured with 0.20g BB's):
400 fps for Full auto
rifles
500 fps for Semi-Auto only rifles (100
foot Minimum engagement)
550 fps for Bolt-Action rifles (100 foot
Minimum engagement)
1. Players must be 18+ years old. Exceptions are made on a
case-by-case basis.
2. All participants must fill out and sign liability
waivers.
3. Eye Protection must be worn at all times on the field, and must
meet ANSI Z87.1 certification. NO EXCEPTIONS!
HITS & ELIMINATIONS
4. A hit to any part of your body or gear counts as an elimination.
You must call out "Hit!" loudly when you are
shot by a BB. Friendly fire, or getting shot by a teammate on
accident, counts. Ricochet shots do not count. Be honorable in your hit-calling,
and give the benefit of the doubt if you think you may have been hit.
"When in doubt, call it out!"
5. Once you are hit, you are eliminated from the game. If you have a
respawn, go there and then you can respawn within 10 feet of a teammate. When
you are "dead", you cannot talk to players, pass information, or interfere in
the ongoing gameplay. Once you respawn, you may communicate with your teammates
again. "Dead men tell no tales."
6. In the case that there are airsoft "grenades" or "claymores" in
use, a player is eliminated by either being within 10 feet of the item when it
goes off or getting hit by a BB.
GAMEPLAY
7. Minimum Engagement distance for all weapons under 400 fps is 10
feet. If you are within 10 feet of an enemy and have the "drop" on them, you may
call out "BANG". The other player is eliminated. This
can oly be done if the other player does not know you are
there.
8. Minimum Engagement distance for long-range weapons is 100 feet.
"Bang-out's" cannot be used at this extreme distance.
9. If there is an issue on the field, contact the administrator and
settle the matter after the game. Airsoft is meant to be fun, and arguments have
no place in our games.
10. If there is a safety issue on the field, a "Blind Man" call will be issued. All players are required
to immediately stop firing, engage the weapon safety, and wait for the
administrator to resolve the issue.
11. When "Game Over" is called, all
players must place their weapons on "safe" and return to the staging area. There
is to be no more shooting.
